Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the execution of contract management for the Talingaan Solar Power Project. You will assist the Project Manager in delivering commercial resolutions, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements within a collaborative team.

The role focuses on coordinating with Project Development and Execution teams to drive results, foster community impact, and develop skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Law.
• At least two years as Contract/Commercial Engineer, or 1 year as Project Coordinator/Project Manager.
• Knowledge of Contracts Management on Complex Projects or Utility Scale Generation Plant Construction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates contractual interests protection of the project while maintaining sustainable commercial relationship with the EPC Contractor.
• Supports to ensure cascaded commercial agreements are aligned and achieved by the project through Project Management Standards.
• Coordinates with the Project Contracts and Compliance Manager in preparing Contractual Letters and processing change orders and claims.
• Implements established commercial structure of projects and guides execution of contract provisions.
• Works with the Project Management Team to generate project-specific mitigation plans.
• Ensures proper commercial documentation is intact and organized to protect contract objectives.
• Integrates Lessons Learned on Contract Applications to improve processes.
• Monitors compliance to permitting provisions and regulatory requirements to prevent suspension or delays.
• Facilitates risk management, issue management, and lessons learned with periodic reviews.

As Project Coordinator, you will facilitate the execution of contract management of Talingaan Solar Power Project under the execution stage. The role directly supports the Project Manager in the implementation of standard commercial issue resolutions, symbiotic monitoring and delivery of contract requirements, and implementing established commercial systems for the project and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with the Project Development and Execution Team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Facilitates the contractual interests protection of the project while maintaining sustainable commercial relationship with the EPC Contractor
• Supports to ensure the cascaded commercial agreements are aligned and achieved by the project through implementation of Project Management Standards.
• Coordinates with the Project Contracts and Compliance Manager in preparing Contractual Letters, coordinating with CCCM and Legal Teams, processing change order and claims approvals, endorsement of project site procurements, and securing transaction authorization from proper approvers.
• Implements established commercial structure of projects by supporting the Project Procurement Standard covering the construction stage which includes guiding the Project Management Team in the execution of contract provisions, escalating critical contractual issues to Project Support Teams, recommending update improvements of provisions, and closing of the contract.
• Works with the Project Management Team to generate project-specific mitigation plans.
• Implement proper commercial documentation ensuring it is intact and organized to protect contract objectives.
• Integrates the Lessons Learned on Contract Applications from the project and endorses it to PCG and PPCM.
• Monitors the project’s compliance to the permitting provisions and regulatory requirements preventing potential suspension of works or delays due to non-conformance.
• Responsible for facilitating risk management, issue management, and lessons learned of the project and ensuring periodic review as stated in the Project Management Plan.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, Law
• At least two [2] years of experience as Contract/Commercial Engineer, or 1 year of relevant experience as Project Coordinator or Project Manager.
• With knowledge and application of Contracts Management on Complex Projects application or Utility Scale Generation Plant Construction (Could be deleted upon discretion of PM)

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Proficiency in FIDIC Contracts (Silver, Red, and Yellow Books).
• Strong skills in writing factual, professional speaking, and investigative mindset.
