Location: Cebu, Philippines. Full-time, on-site. Experience required: 1-3 years. Education required: Bachelor’s degree.
The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting project managers and engineering teams by ensuring smooth execution of software projects. This role bridges technical and non-technical stakeholders, keeps deliverables on track, and ensures agile processes run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Development Supervisor and Project Manager from initiation to delivery.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand‑ups.
- Track progress of tasks, milestones, and deliverables using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
- Facilitate communication between developers, QA testers, product managers, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation including requirements, technical specifications, and release notes.
- Monitor risks, dependencies, and blockers, escalating when necessary.
- Assist with resource allocation and scheduling across multiple projects.
- Prepare status reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.
- Ensure compliance with software development standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within software development or IT projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Prior experience in software project coordination or IT project management.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams (developers, QA, product managers, UX/UI designers).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, Asana, Azure DevOps).
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
- Basic knowledge of software development processes and terminology.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to identifying risks and blockers.
