Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft CRM technologies, including Dynamics 365 for resource planning and project management.

The Project Controller - Global Resource Manager (GDCP) oversees resource utilization, project controlling functions, and the efficient allocation of billable hours across global teams. Additionally, this role includes leading and mentoring junior team members, ensuring alignment with PMO goals and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have expertise in resource management, project financials, and team leadership to drive productivity and success.

A. Resource Utilization & Workforce Planning

• Manage and track utilization rates, ensuring optimal distribution of billable hours.
• Forecast resource demand based on project pipeline and business needs.
• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Develop strategies to balance workloads, reduce underutilization, and improve efficiency.

B. Project Controlling & Financial Oversight

• Support project financial planning by monitoring billable hours, costs, and budgets.
• Analyze financial data and resource performance, providing insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and project governance frameworks.
• Identify optimization opportunities to enhance financial and operational efficiency.

C. Missing for Project Controlling

• Monitor and analyze project costs through detailed plan vs. actual comparisons
• Support financial project planning and budgeting in collaboration with project managers.
• Develop and update project forecasts for costs, revenues, margins, and resource needs.
• Conduct variance and profitability analyses, identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions.
• Apply methods such as Earned Value Management (EVM) to assess project performance and progress.
• Maintain and enhance controlling dashboards and KPIs to support early risk detection and proactive project steering.
• Prepare and deliver regular project and financial reports for management.

D. Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and supervise junior team members, to provide guidance on best practices.
• Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring junior team members contribute to resource management functions.
• Foster professional development and provide training to enhance team skills and capabilities.
• Act as a liaison between project teams and PMO, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

E. Process Improvement & Reporting

• Implement tools, processes, and dashboards for efficient tracking of resource utilization and project financials.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on resource performance, financial metrics, and workforce trends for senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, refining resource management operations for maximum efficiency.

A. Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in resource management, project financial control, or PMO functions.
• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft CRM technologies, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 for resource planning and project management.

B. Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, including:
• Resource scheduling & workforce planning within Dynamics 365
• Project Service Automation (PSA) for tracking billable hours and utilization rates.
  • Power BI integration for data visualization and reporting.
  • Workflow automation using Power Automate.
  • Customization & configuration of CRM dashboards for project tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Power Platform for project controlling functions.
• Experience with financial tracking tools integrated within Microsoft CRM.

C. Project & Resource Management Skills:

• Strong analytical skills for monitoring utilization rates and optimizing workforce allocation.
• Ability to forecast resource demand based on project pipeline and business objectives.
• Experience in project financial planning, including tracking billable hours and budget adherence.
• Leadership experience in managing junior project assistants, delegating tasks, and mentoring team members.
