Job summary

Aecom Philippines, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Accountant to support end-to-end accounting for assigned accounts and projects. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders to drive timely completion of project deliverables and financials.

You will review revenue recognition, operate within a hybrid 3x/week office schedule, and leverage Oracle/BlackLine expertise to improve processes and ensure contract compliance. Night shift is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant project accounting experience.
• Knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycle and revenue recognition.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and BlackLine is an advantage.
• Hybrid work setup with night shift schedule (9PM–6AM Manila time).

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex tasks supporting multiple projects per contract and SLA.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.
• Review project financials for accurate revenue recognition.
• Conduct in-depth project analysis and recommendations.
• Support process improvements and resolve technical issues.
• Assist Team Lead with escalations and disputes related to project financials.
• Maintain SOP/DTP and document updates.
• Participate in audit activities and prepare responses.
• Assist juniors with routine issues.
• Contribute specialized expertise to projects and report updates.
