Miescor Builders Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, project closeouts, and internal controls for multiple projects in Quezon City. The role emphasizes close collaboration with departments, team supervision, and ensuring timely, accurate project accounting outputs.

You will lead a team of project accountants, review schedules, and coordinate with external auditors while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience in project accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Willing to be assigned in Anonas, Quezon City.
• Audit prep experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare summaries of project financial reports including profitability, receivables, payables, and inventory.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and irregularities.
• Prepare schedules and reports required by management and external auditors.
• Lead and supervise project accountants; provide training and corrective guidance.
• Review accounting entries, adjustments, and schedules related to billing, receivables, payables, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and governance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of project accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.

• Good understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, variance analysis, and audit requirements.

• Preferably with years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in project accounting.

• Experience in financial reporting, audit preparation, and process improvement is an advantage.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is an advantage.

• Willing to be assigned in Anonas, Quezon City.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare summaries of project financial reports including profitability, receivables, payables, and inventory.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and irregularities.
• Prepare schedules and reports required by management and external auditors.

B. Project Close-out & Internal Controls

• Review and monitor project close‑out reports and propose corrective actions.
• Evaluate internal controls for project accounting and recommend enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting procedures, and corporate governance.

C. Team Supervision and Coordination

• Lead and supervise project accountants; provide training and corrective guidance as needed.
• Oversee work assignments, priorities, and review of team outputs.
• Cascade policies and guidelines to ensure consistency across project accounting teams.
• Monitor KPI performance of the project accounting team.

D. Billing, Receivables & Payables Oversight

• Review accounting entries, adjustments, and schedules related to billing, receivables, payables, and inventory.
• Support improvements in reporting processes by eliminating duplications and enhancing automation.

E. Compliance and Support

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental management, and internal controls.
• Assist departments in preparing financial presentations and special reports related to projects.
• Protect the confidentiality of company financial information.
