Job summary

Anthesis Esp is seeking a Project Accounting Analyst in the Philippines to support end-to-end project accounting life cycle activities for assigned projects, coordinating with stakeholders to drive project completion.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, at least 1 year in project accounting, proficiency with Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Office, strong English communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented team player able to handle multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in project accounting.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of project lifecycle and contract types.

Responsibilities

• Handle mildly complex project setup per PM requirements.
• Handle mildly complex project reforecasting per PM requirements.
• Ensure billing is completed per PM instructions.
• Manage fixed-price and time & materials invoicing.
• Review revenue recognition (POC%, cost, revenues, WIP/POA).
• Communicate project results, deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Monitor work in progress and payment on account.
• Maintain forecast and actual project billing dates.
• Initiate continuous process improvement and identify best practices.
• Identify and analyze transactions for process improvements.
• Facilitate review and ensure proper documentation for each project process.

Description

As a Project Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end project accounting life cycle activities for assigned projects. The role will be involved with stakeholder coordination to execute processes that will drive the completion of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Mildly Complex Project Set Up in line with PM requirements.
• Handle Mildly Complex Reforecasting projects in line with PM requirements.
• Ensure billing is completed as per Project Managers instructions.
• Fixed Price invoicing and Time & Materials Invoicing.
• Review and ensure the correct revenue recognition (POC%, cost, revenues, WIP/POA)
• Communicate project results, deviations and recommend underlying causes and corrective actions to be taken.
• Monitor work in progress & payment on account.
• Maintain forecast and actual project billing dates.
• Initiate continuous process improvement and identify best practices.
• Identify and analyse transaction and workflow details in support of continuous process improvements.
• Facilitate the review and ensure compliance/proper documentation for each project accounting processes.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent relevant courses.
• Basic Knowledge on end-to-end project lifecycle, project accounting concepts & methodology, and contract types.
• At least a year of relevant experience in Project Accounting
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) is essential.
• Good English language written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
