Job Title: Programmatic Associate(Remote)

Overview: The Programmatic Associate is a hands-on execution and account health role supportingthe Programmatic team. This position builds and traffics programmatic campaignsquickly and accurately, keeps live campaigns delivering on budget, and finds problemsbefore they cost clients money. Unlike a pure QA role, the associate is expected todiagnose what is wrong and propose a specific fix, not just flag that something looks off.The associate works from documented processes, build templates, and briefs fromsenior team members. Recommended fixes are reviewed and approved by theProgrammatic Team Manager before changes that affect strategy, bidding, inventory, orbudget allocation are made.This role is not responsible for leading client communication, setting campaign strategy,or owning client performance goals
- Build campaigns in The Trade Desk and DV360 from approved briefs and templates, including budgets, flights, ad groups or line items, bid settings, frequency caps, audiences, geo targeting, and brand safety settings
- Primary focus will be The Trade Desk. Secondary will be DV360, including YouTube line items
- Traffic creatives and tags, confirming correct specs, sizes, VAST/VPAID setup, click-through URLs, and UTMs
- Set up and verify deal IDs, private marketplace (PMP) deals, and inventory lists
- Confirm tracking pixels and conversion events are firing and attached correctly before launch
- Build multi-location geo targeting quickly for clients operating dozens to hundreds oflocations
- Run scheduled audits of live campaigns against a standard checklist: flight dates,budgets, pacing settings, frequency caps, creative approvals, deal status, pixelhealth, and naming consistency
- Perform daily delivery checks using internal tools and directly in platform to spotanomalies such as under-delivery, sudden spend spikes, falling win rates, CPM orCTR swings, viewability drops, or conversion tracking breaks
- Identify the likely cause of each anomaly (for example, bids too low for the inventory,an inactive or non-bidding deal, an expired creative, a pixel outage, overly narrowtargeting, or suspicious traffic) before escalating
- Review site and app placement reports to flag low-quality or suspicious inventoryand propose exclusions
- For every issue identified, document what happened, the likely cause, therecommended fix, and the expected impact
Implement approved fixes and routine corrections (creative swaps, broken URLs, flight date fixes, placement exclusions) within agreed guidelines
- Escalate issues that affect strategy, bidding, inventory, or budget allocation to the
- Programmatic Team Manager with a recommendation, not just a flag
- Monitor campaign pacing to ensure budgets are spending appropriately relative toplan; flag under- or over-delivery promptly
- Verify landing pages, URLs, and destination functionality prior to and after launch
- Clearly communicate errors, risks, and pacing concerns to senior team members
- Track identified issues through resolution to ensure no gaps in execution
- Build CTV and audio campaigns from approved briefs
- Own recurring audits for an assigned set of clients end to end
- Implement a wider range of approved optimizations (bid adjustments, budget shiftswithin plan, inventory and audience refinements) with less review
- Help maintain and improve build templates, audit checklists, and anomaly thresholds
- Support a higher volume of campaigns once consistency and trust are established
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience building and managing campaigns in The Trade Desk
- Experience trafficking creatives and tags, including display and video (VAST) formats
- Working knowledge of bidding, frequency management, audience and geo targeting, deals and PMPs, and brand safety and fraud prevention tools
- Understanding of pixel and conversion tracking, including Google Tag Manager and Campaign Manager 360
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose the cause of a delivery or performance change, not just notice it
- The Trade Desk Edge Academy certification preferred; DV360 experience not required (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with process-driven, high-volume work
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy and to meet deadlines consistently
- Clear written communication skills for internal coordination and issue write-ups
- Familiarity with Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Microsoft Teams
