Job summary

Avensys Consulting invites a Senior Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery of the Philippines Core Banking Transformation programme. The role spans a complex, multi-phase engagement across Trade Finance, Lending, CASA, and Payments, with a distributed team in the Philippines, India, and Singapore.

The role demands extensive senior-level governance, multi-country leadership, and robust programme delivery management capabilities to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall Project/Programme Management experience, including delivery ownership of at least one large-scale Core Banking implementation end-to-end.
• Hands-on execution experience with strong delivery ownership.
• Working understanding of Trade Finance, Lending, CASA, and Payments domains; able to converse credibly with SMEs.
• Proven experience managing multivendor and multi-country delivery teams (onshore/offshore).
• Strong command of project financials, resource planning, and effort tracking in person-months.
• Experience with core banking platforms such as Flexcube, ACBS, Trade 360, Murex, or Finastra GPP.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills; comfortable with governance with senior banking executives.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or Finance; MBA or equivalent is a plus.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Working understanding of Trade Finance, Lending, CASA, and Payments domains able to converse credibly with SMEs and challenge estimates.
• Proven experience managing multivendor and multi-country / distributed delivery teams (onshore/offshore models).
• Strong command of project financials, resource planning, and effort tracking in person-months.
• Experience with core banking and adjacent platforms such as Flexcube, ACBS, Trade 360, Murex, or Finastra GPP (direct implementation experience or close oversight).
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills; comfortable running governance with senior banking executives.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, IT, Engineering, or Finance); MBA or equivalent is a plus.
