Job summary

Avensys Consulting, a Singapore-based IT services company, seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to drive a Philippines Core Banking transformation program.

The Senior Project Manager will lead multi-vendor, multi-country teams (Philippines, India, Singapore) to deliver end-to-end deployment across Trade Finance, Lending, CASA, and Payments, ensuring governance and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of overall Project/Programme Management experience, including delivery ownership of at least one large-scale Core Banking implementation end-to-end.
• Hands-on execution experience at the right level.
• Familiar with Trade Finance, Lending, CASA, and Payments domains and able to discuss with SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Multivendor, Multi-Country delivery teams (onshore/offshore) to ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee governance and stakeholder management with senior banking executives.
• Own Programme and Delivery Management across the transformation lifecycle.

Role Purpose We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery of the Philippines Core Banking Transformation programme. This is a complex, multi-phase, multivendor engagement spanning Trade Finance, Lending, CASA, and Payments, delivered by a distributed team across the Philippines, India, and Singapore.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 10-15 years of overall Project/Programme Management experience, including delivery ownership of at least one large-scale Core Banking implementation end-to-end.
• Looking for right level of hands-on execution expertise.
• Working understanding of Trade Finance, Lending, CASA, and Payments domains able to converse credibly with SMEs and challenge estimates.
• Proven experience managing multivendor and multi-country / distributed delivery teams (onshore/offshore models).
• Strong command of project financials, resource planning, and effort tracking in person-months.
• Experience with core banking and adjacent platforms such as Flexcube, ACBS, Trade 360, Murex, or Finastra GPP (direct implementation experience or close oversight).
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills; comfortable running governance with senior banking executives.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, IT, Engineering, or Finance); MBA or equivalent is a plus.
