Job summary

Asian Institute of Management is seeking a Program Development Manager to lead design and development of custom executive education programs. You will translate client needs into structured learning solutions and ensure alignment with academic quality standards.

You will collaborate with Business Development, directors, and faculty to build scalable program design frameworks and standardized processes. The role focuses on cross-functional collaboration, faculty planning, and process improvement

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or relevant certifications in education, management, or related fields are an advantage
• Preferably 5-8 years of experience in program development, curriculum/instructional design, or training/learning and development
• Experience in executive education, higher education, or corporate training environments is preferred
• Demonstrated experience in handling complex program design or cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and structuring of custom programs based on client requirements and Business Development inputs.
• Translate training needs analysis (TNA) into coherent program frameworks, modules, and delivery approaches.
• Ensure alignment of program design with SEELL standards and academic quality expectations.
• Participate in client immersions and support the development of program proposals.
• Provide program design inputs to ensure feasibility, relevance, and alignment with client requirements.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to refine program concepts and offerings.
• Identify and recommend appropriate Program Directors, faculty, and resource persons for custom programs.
• Design and enhance faculty engagement approaches, including selection criteria, onboarding frameworks, and feedback mechanisms.
• Support the development of a sustainable and aligned faculty pool for custom programs.
• Lead the development and refinement of program design templates, tools, and frameworks.
• Ensure consistency and quality across custom program development processes.
• Institutionalize best practices in program design and documentation.
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies in program development workflows.
• Design and implement improvements, including automation and system enhancements.
• Drive initiatives that improve turnaround time, quality, and scalability of program development.

The Program Development Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of custom executive education programs that respond to client and market needs. The role ensures that program designs are structured, relevant, and aligned with SEELL’s academic standards and quality expectations.

As an individual contributor, the role drives program design frameworks, tools, and processes and works closely with the Business Development team, Program Directors, and faculty to translate training needs into high-quality learning solutions. It plays a key role in strengthening program development capabilities by building scalable systems and ensuring consistency across custom program offerings.
