Job summary

JEA Steel Industries, Inc. invites a driven Production Welder to join our ISO 9001:2015 certified steel manufacturing team in the Philippines. You will weld door jambs and other components, set up materials, and ensure welded surfaces meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience in welding, and the SMAW NC II credential is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects and work with minimal supervision is required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Welding experience required.
• SMAW NC II is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up materials for welding according to specs.
• Weld door jambs and other components.
• Repair and file gaps as needed.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures.

We’re looking for a driven Production Welder to join our growing team!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setting up materials needed for the welding according to specifications
• Welding of Door Jambs and other welding works
• Repairing components by welding pieces and filing gaps
• Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structure
• Maintaining and cleaning welding materials and area
• Performed minor repairs
• Performed other duties may be assigned.
• Strict compliance of QMS policy.

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate
• Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II Holder is a plus
• With experience in Welding
• Can lift heavy objects and can work under minimum supervision
