Job summary

Responsibilities

About the role

Supervise and set direction to production team to achieve day to day production target. Monitor personnel performance and coach direct subordinates.

Key responsibilities

• Supervises the plant start up and plant shutdown
• Completes daily production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, establish priorities, monitor progress, and accomplish results
• Ensures production of quality products that meets customer requirements
• Addresses problems encountered in production
• Initiates implementation of corrective actions and design countermeasures for process abnormalities
• Ensures operations equipment are running smoothly and in good condition
• Recommends repairs for equipment and requisition for new items
• Ensures proper communication and turnover of tasks, accomplishments and shift results to succeeding shift
• Ensures health and safety rules are complied every shift
• Inputs raw material used daily, production output and deliveries in SAP
