Operate production machinery and assembly equipment to build wire harnesses and other components according to specifications.
- Follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform manual assembly tasks: cutting, stripping, crimping wires, connecting terminals, bundling, labeling.
- Inspect assembled items for defects, irregularities, and ensure product meets quality standards.
- Pack finished products, label appropriately, and prepare for shipment or next stage in production.
- Monitor one’s own output and help meet daily/shift production targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation and production area.
- Assist in troubleshooting minor equipment issues and escalating larger problems to technical staff.
- Comply with all safety procedures (PPE usage, machine guarding, good housekeeping).
- Report any production delays, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues to supervisor.
- May perform basic machine setup, changeovers, or adjustment tasks under supervision.
Qualifications
- At least high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing/assembly experience is an advantage but not always required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn assembly/machine-operation tasks.
- Good hand–eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in shifts (day or possibly night depending on production schedule).
- Able to follow instructions, pay attention to detail, and maintain consistent quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Physically fit and able to lift or move items (depending on specific tasks).
- Willingness to adhere to safety and quality standards as a certified PEZA/ISO facility.
