Emapta is hiring a Full Stack Data Scientist to own ML solutions from problem definition to deployment and monitoring. You will work with business stakeholders and production-grade ML using Python, SQL, GCP, and Vertex AI.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, collaboration with international teams, and room to expand ML foundations into generative AI. Onsite work at SM Megatower, Ortigas, with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, CS, Statistics or Mathematics or related field.
• 3-5+ years delivering end-to-end DS/ML projects with production ownership.
• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI experience, incl. training and deployment.
• Strong Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with data pipelines, APIs, CI/CD for ML, and Docker.
• Ability to explain model decisions to non-technical stakeholders (SHAP/LIME).
• Exposure to LLMs, vector DBs, LangChain or ADK valued but not required.
• Terraform and Kubernetes familiarity is a strong plus.
• Experience in Media/Telecommunications/Finance welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Translate commercial goals into technical requirements with business partners.
• Stay involved through deployment to ensure value delivery.
• Develop ML models from behavior and engagement data to support decisions.
• Apply Python, pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM and SQL on large datasets.
• Feature engineering, validation, and model explainability for reliable predictions.
• Move models from concept to live, monitored production services.
• Containerize models with Docker and deploy via CI/CD pipelines.
