Job summary

Prysmian Group in Laguna, Philippines seeks a seasoned engineer to own product-line tech, maintain specs and drawings, and manage BOMs within ERP systems. You will lead ECOs, support NPI and product transfers, and act as the technical bridge among customers, production, quality, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities include resolving product-related issues, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance, optimizing processes, and driving Lean/Six Sigma improvements to boost OEE and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with product engineering, process engineering, or industrialization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned product lines and maintain specifications, drawings, standards, and manufacturing requirements.
• Lead product qualification, product changes, and ECOs.
• Support NPI and product transfer projects.
• Act as technical liaison between customers, commercial, production and quality functions.
• Provide technical analysis and resolution for customer complaints and non‑conformances.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Define and optimize manufacturing processes for safe, efficient, repeatable production.
• Develop process parameters, routings, work instructions, control plans and SOPs.
• Monitor process capability and implement improvements to reduce variation, scrap and downtime.
• Conduct process validation for new products, equipment and methods.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Support equipment selection, commissioning, qualification and process acceptance.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Production and Quality to improve OEE.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and productivity initiatives.
• Perform process capability studies and SPC analysis.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and waste elimination.
• Engage in Value Stream Mapping and 5S programs.
• Support digitalization and automation initiatives.
• Support QMS: Process FMEAs, Control Plans, Risk Assessments and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Participate in audits and ensure documentation audit readiness.
• Contribute to CAPA implementation.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and other management system requirements.
