Job summary

GAC International Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Product Planning Specialist to conduct market research, analyze competitors, manage product documentation, and coordinate across functions to keep vehicle offerings competitive in the local market.

You will support model lineup planning, pricing analysis, launch preparation, and maintain accurate product information, while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and dealer partners to drive successful initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Technology, or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in automotive product planning, product management, market research, or related field.
• Knowledge of the Philippine automotive market, vehicle technologies, and competitor landscape.
• Understanding of vehicle homologation, certification processes, and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in an automotive OEM, distributor, or dealership is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis on vehicle models, pricing, specifications, market trends, and industry regulations.
• Support product planning activities, including model lineup planning, product positioning, pricing analysis, and vehicle launch preparation.
• Maintain and update product specifications, technical documents, sales materials, and product databases.
• Coordinate with headquarters and internal departments to ensure accurate product information and timely implementation of product initiatives.
• Provide product support to Sales, Marketing, After Sales, and dealer partners, including product training and responding to product-related inquiries.
• Collect and analyze dealer and customer feedback to support product improvements and future planning.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation required by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
