• Develop and execute short and long term product strategies aligned with company goals
• Identify market opportunities, trends, and customer preferences to guide product development
• Define product positioning, target segments, and value propositions
• Conduct in-depth market research, benchmarking, and competitor analysis
• Monitor industry trends (e.g. ellctrification, connectivity, autonomous driving)
• Provide actionable insights to senior management

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT COORDINATION

• Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and aftersales teams
• Ensure product specifications meet market requirements and regulatory standards
• Oversee product development timelines from concept to launch

LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT

• Manage the full product lifecycle including introduction, growth, maturity, and phase-out
• Recommend product updates, facelifts, or discontinuation strategies
• Track product performance and profitability
• Develop pricing strategies in coordination with finance and sales teams
• Ensure profitability targets are achieved through cost and feature optimization
• Support business case development for new models or variants

LEADERSHIP AND TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Lead and mentor a team of product planning specialists
• Set performance goals and ensure team alignment with organizational objectives
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

EXPERIENCE

• 7-10+ years of experience in product planning, product management or automotive strategy
• Proven experience in the automotive industry
• Experience in handling cross-functional teams and projects
