DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is seeking a Product Localization Specialist to adapt product content for local language, culture, and user behavior. You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and marketing to deliver localized experiences.
Responsibilities include writing local copy, translating and adapting tooltips and onboarding, reviewing PRDs, and ensuring QA alignment with local standards. This role requires strong editing and cross-cultural communication.
The Product Localization Specialist is responsible for adapting product content and features to ensure they align with local language, cultural nuances, and user behaviors. This role requires close collaboration with product managers, UX/UI designers, and marketing teams to deliver seamless, intuitive, and engaging localized experiences.
Product Content Localization- Write and adapt localized product copy, ensuring clear communication and alignment with brand tone.- Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and resonate with local users.
Understanding PRD and Product Logic- Review and understand product manager PRDs (Product Requirement Documents).- Adapt functional descriptions, tooltips, notifications, and onboarding flows to meet local context
User Interaction and Competitive Analysis- Analyze user interaction behaviors and identify opportunities for improvement in localized experiences.- Research competitor platforms to understand local best practices and benchmarks.
Quality Assurance for Localized Features- Review all product features before launch to confirm alignment with local language, design standards, and user expectations.- Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve localization-related issues.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
Experience- 1-3 years of experience in product localization, content writing, or UX/UI adaptation.- Previous experience in gaming, tech, or consumer-facing platforms preferred.
Skills- Strong command of English (required); proficiency in local languages is a plus.- Ability to interpret and adapt PRDs into effective localized content.- Understanding of user experience principles and cross-cultural communication.- Familiarity with competitive market research and benchmarking practices
