The role focuses on managing technical packaging initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving R&D efforts from concept to production. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in packaging development within FMCG/food manufacturing, with strong leadership and project management skills to guide cross-functional teams

• Technical Project Management: Manage a portfolio of packaging development initiatives with on-time execution.

• R&D & Material Testing: Lead evaluation, trial testing, and qualification of next-generation packaging materials.
• Strategic Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with Marketing, QA, Production, and Supply Chain, plus external vendors, to streamline launches.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Project Management: Manage a dynamic portfolio of technically complex packaging development initiatives, ensuring on-time execution and technical excellence.
• Quality Assurance & Regulatory Standards: Oversaw technical programs and operating procedures to maintain strict compliance with regulatory requirements, food/product safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
• R&D & Material Testing: Lead the evaluation, trial testing, and qualification of next-generation packaging materials to improve functionality, cost efficiency, and quality.
• Strategic Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate cross-functionally with Marketing, QA, Production, and Supply Chain, alongside external vendors, to streamline product launches and support corporate innovation strategies.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on packaging development experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in scaling and launching packaged food products from lab concepts to full production and retail distribution.
• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, quality testing, and product lifecycle management.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional project management abilities with a proven track record of guiding cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
