Shore360 is a 100% Australian-owned BP firm based in the Philippines, providing staffing and admin support for international companies. Shore360 seeks a Product Development Designer to join our Design Team and drive products from concept through production.

You will develop early concepts, create 3D models in Inventor, and finalize designs for manufacturing. Requirements include proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, strong attention to detail, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail when verifying CAD models and component inclusion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred English proficiency tests: IELTS 8.0, TOEFL 100, PTE 80.

Responsibilities

• Develop early concepts and 3D models in Inventor to test feasibility.
• Establish appearance, theme, and structural intent; define manufacturing processes and costs.
• Complete and document full product design for manufacturing, quoting and installation; create Inventor parts/assemblies and documentation.
• Prototype development when required; perform engineering and compliance checks; cost detailing for parts/assemblies.
• Ensure CAD data aligns with production tolerances and ISO standards; generate/update 2D drawings and exploded views.

Are you a creative problem-solver with a passion for transforming ideas into manufacturable products? We're looking for a Product Development Designer to join our Design Team and play a key role in developing innovative products from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Development (initial model)

• Develop early concepts aligned with Systems and Templates rules and produce initial 3D models in Inventor to test feasibility and design direction.

• Establish appearance, theme, and structural intent.

• Define manufacturing processes and estimate costs

Detailed Design (Final model)

• Complete and document the full design of the product so it can be manufactured, quoted, and installed. The following tasks are completed during Detailed Design:

• BC code creation for Inventor parts/assemblies

• Development of 3D parts/assemblies of each event for manufacturing

• Prototype development (if required) - including part/assembly or install drawings

• Engineering and Compliance checks

• Detailed costing of each part/assembly for the whole event

Other Responsibilities

• Ensure CAD data aligns with production requirements, tolerances, and standards

• When required, generate and update 2D drawings, exploded views, and technical documentation for production to ISO standards. (Metal Fabrication, CNC Machining/ Routing)

• Support engineering and product management in design reviews, drawing checks, and design verification processes

• Work within PDM to maintain version control and ensure data integrity throughout the development cycle. Specifically, Inventor Vault

• Working with Project management systems to log and complete tasks through Asana

Required Experience

• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor

• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD

Minimum Qualification

• High attention to detail as they will need to check the CAD model to make sure that all the components are included in the model Export

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Preferred but not required English standardized test (8.0 IELTS - 100 TOEFL - 80 PTE)
