Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Lead Product Designer based in Spain to shape intuitive, high-quality payment experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will own the full product design journey from discovery to delivery, working with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to turn complex challenges into clear, elegant solutions.

You will analyze user and business metrics, validate decisions with research, and contribute to scalable design systems to ensure cohesive experiences across products used

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing complex commercial digital products in-house.
• Strong portfolio across web and mobile.
• Proven experience designing for iOS, Android, and web.
• Solid UX foundation: user behavior, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Strong visual design: typography, grids, color, components.
• Ability to communicate design rationale to stakeholders.
• Understanding technical constraints and their influence on design.
• Owns design process independently across multiple projects.
• Experience maintaining design systems at scale is a plus.
• Prototyping using HTML/CSS, Framer, or similar tools.
• Familiar with payments/fintech or B2B SaaS products.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Product Designer based in Spain.

As a Lead Product Designer, you will shape intuitive, high-quality payment experiences for complex digital products used by customers across global markets.
You will own the full product design journey, from discovery and research through delivery and continuous improvement.
Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams, you will turn complex customer and business challenges into clear, elegant solutions.
Your work will span web and mobile platforms, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and customer outcomes.
You will use research, experimentation, and product metrics to validate decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
You will also contribute to scalable design systems and help establish consistent, cohesive experiences across the product ecosystem.

Accountabilities

• Lead the end-to-end product design process, from discovery and problem definition through delivery, covering web and mobile experiences.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to understand customer needs, identify meaningful problems, and define effective solutions.
• Identify relevant product and user metrics for design initiatives and take ownership of measuring and improving their impact.
• Conduct research and translate user insights into actionable recommendations supporting new market launches and the introduction of new payment capabilities.
• Create intuitive and visually polished experiences, progressing from early concepts and wireframes to detailed prototypes and production-ready designs.
• Facilitate customer testing sessions and workshops to validate assumptions, gather feedback, and ensure solutions address real user needs before development.
• Collaborate with engineers throughout implementation to maintain design quality, consistency, and fidelity through to release.
• Contribute to the evolution of the design system, helping ensure scalable, consistent, and cohesive product experiences.
• Proactively identify opportunities and propose creative solutions to complex product and customer challenges.

Requirements

• Fluent English communication skills.
• 4+ years of experience designing complex commercial digital products in an in-house product environment; experience in fintech or payments is a strong advantage.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design experience across web and mobile platforms is required.
• Proven experience designing for iOS, Android, and web environments.
• Strong foundation in user experience design, including user behavior, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, grid systems, color, components, and overall visual hierarchy.
• Ability to think strategically and clearly communicate design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of technical constraints and how they can influence product and design decisions.
• Strong ownership and autonomy, with the ability to manage the design process independently across multiple projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset when approaching complex or evolving challenges.
• Experience creating or maintaining design systems at scale is a plus.
• Ability to build simple prototypes using HTML/CSS, Framer, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with payments, financial technology, or business-to-business Software as a Service products is preferred.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments and navigating ambiguity while bringing structure and clarity to complex problems.
