Job summary

Masagana Gas Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Supervisor to oversee procurement operations in Metro Manila.

The role emphasizes timely, cost-effective purchasing, supplier relationship management, and team leadership to support operations. Responsibilities include supervising daily purchasing activities, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory, approving requisitions, and preparing procurement reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with supervisory experience preferred.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Proficient in Google Workspace and purchasing/ERP systems.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Good communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily purchasing activities, including processing of purchase requests and issuance of purchase orders.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations to ensure availability of required materials.
Review and approve purchase requisitions in line with company policies and budget.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support procurement planning.
Ensure all purchasing transactions are properly documented and compliant with internal controls.
Prepare reports on procurement status, expenses, and supplier performance.
Lead, train, and manage purchasing staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
