Job summary

Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. in Parañaque City is seeking a Purchasing Associate to support procurement, ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing, and maintain inventory levels for our cold storage and logistics operations.

You will process purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, track deliveries, reconcile invoices, and contribute to cost reduction initiatives. 1–2 years in purchasing and a high school diploma (degree preferred) are desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Business Admin or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years in purchasing, procurement or inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing documents.
• Basic understanding of supply chain principles and procurement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate terms.
• Monitor inventory levels with warehouse teams and identify needs.
• Track delivery schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain supplier database and conduct vendor evaluations.
• Assist with invoice reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying alternatives.
• Prepare purchasing reports for management decisions.
