Job summary

LG Electronics Philippines is seeking a General Procurement Officer to manage procurement activities, source qualified suppliers, and optimize costs. You will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant purchases and strong supplier relationships.

The role requires 3–5 years of procurement experience, proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, and excellent negotiation and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business administration, management, economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in vendor management and supplier negotiations.
• Knowledge of procurement practices, sourcing strategies, inventory management, and contract administration.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing: process purchase requests and procure goods and services per policy.
• Source qualified suppliers, obtain quotations, evaluate procurement options.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules for cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and contract compliance.
• Address procurement and supplier-related concerns promptly.
• Purchase Order & Documentation: prepare/maintain purchase orders, quotations, contracts, and records.
• Inventory, Cost Control & Process Improvement: coordinate with internal departments, monitor costs, identify savings, drive improvements.
