Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment in Manila is seeking a Procurement Officer to join our Manila Team. The role ensures timely and cost-effective acquisition of resources, materials, and services to support operations, blending office days with a hybrid setup.

You will build and manage supplier networks, ensure compliance with global procurement policies, and perform budget planning, cost analyses, and reporting to drive value across the PH branch.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building and maintaining diverse network of suppliers.
• Proficiency in using SAP or other recognized ERP platform.
• Experience in conducting cost analyses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute short-term and medium-term procurement plans within budget.
• Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Ensure PH branch compliance with global procurement policies and audits.
• Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our Manila Team. As the second largest branch , the role will be key in that the PH Office acquires the necessary resources, materials, and services efficiently, on time, and cost-effectively to support its operations.

What are your key accountabilities in this role?

• Planning and executing short-term and medium-term plans re: purchase of equipment, services and supplies in accordance to budget.
• Managing inventories and maintains accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Ensuring compliance of PH branch with global procurement policies and procedures and passes internal, external and tax audit requirements.
• Preparing budget, cost analyses, and reports.
