Job summary

Transcom Pasig is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to lead end-to-end procurement for assigned categories, drive cost efficiency, monitor vendor performance, and ensure compliance through strategic sourcing and stakeholder partnership.

The role requires 3–6+ years of procurement/sourcing experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of BPO/shared services is a plus, with responsibilities spanning sourcing, contracting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
• 3–6+ years of procurement/sourcing experience.
• Experience in BPO/shared services environment preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel including reporting, data consolidation, and analysis.
• Strong PowerPoint presentation and reporting skills.
• Experience in Facilities Management/Department handling is a major advantage.
• Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Category Management: develop and execute sourcing strategies; identify cost optimization opportunities; analyze spend data; leverage AI tools for vendor data analysis.
• Procurement Operations: oversee timely processing of Purchase Orders; monitor delivery timelines; resolve supply issues.
• Contracting & Compliance: prepare bid analyses; ensure compliance with policies and laws; manage due diligence and documentation for approvals.
• Cost & Savings Management: own and deliver procurement savings; track cost avoidance and efficiency gains.
• Stakeholder Management: partner with business units to understand requirements and timelines; provide procurement advisory.
• Process Improvement: drive procurement process improvements and automation, including AI-driven initiatives.

Responsible for end-to-end procurement management of assigned categories, driving cost efficiency, vendor performance, and compliance while supporting business needs through strategic sourcing and stakeholder partnership.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities and alternative sourcing options
  • Analyze spend data to support category planning and decision-making
  • Use AI tools to analyze vendor data, benchmark pricing, and identify sourcing opportunities
  • Lead vendor sourcing, evaluation, and accreditation
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Leverage AI-generated insights to support vendor evaluation and performance tracking
• Procurement Operations
  • Oversee and ensure timely processing of Purchase Orders (POs)
  • Monitor delivery timelines and resolve supply issues proactively
• Contracting & Compliance
  • Prepare bid analysis, cost comparisons, and award justifications
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and applicable laws
  • Manage due diligence and documentation for contract approvals
• Cost & Savings Management
  • Own and deliver procurement savings targets

  • Partner with business units to understand requirements and timelines

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role you must…

• Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related)
• 3–6+ years procurement/sourcing experience
• Experience in BPO/shared services environment preferred
• Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, including reporting, data consolidation, and analysis
• Strong PowerPoint presentation and reporting skills
• Experience in Facilities Management/Department handling is a major advantage
• Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines
