Job summary

Abenson Ventures, Inc. seeks a highly strategic Procurement Manager to lead company-wide purchasing across retail and corporate operations in Metro Manila. You will build a reliable supplier network, streamline procurement workflows, and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality.

You will manage a procurement team, negotiate master terms, monitor supplier performance against SLAs, and drive data-driven cost optimization across categories including inventory, logistics, and CapEx.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management; at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Diverse procurement portfolio experience including retail inventory, corporate operations, CapEx, or logistics.
• Proficient with modern procurement systems and ERP software (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and advanced data analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in SCM/BA/Engineering; CPSM or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing, vendor onboarding, and negotiation of master service agreements and pricing.
• Vendor performance monitoring and SRM to ensure reliability against SLAs.
• Analyze spending, data, and market trends to identify cost reductions and efficiency gains.
• Establish, update, and enforce standardized procurement policies and risk-mitigation measures.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team to ensure timely purchase order processing and KPI tracking.

We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Procurement Manager to oversee and optimize our company-wide purchasing operations. In this role, you will lead the procurement team in sourcing goods and services across both corporate head office functions and retail operations (including commercial inventory, logistics, and supply chains). Your primary objective is to build a reliable supplier network, streamline procurement workflows, and implement cost‑saving strategies without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Source, evaluate, and onboard high-quality vendors; negotiate master service agreements, commercial terms, and pricing to maximize company savings.
• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Monitor, review, and evaluate vendor performance against SLAs to ensure continuous supply chain reliability.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze spending patterns, historical data, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiency.
• Policy & Governance: Establish, update, and enforce standardized procurement policies, risk-mitigation strategies, and compliance across all departments.
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and track the KPIs of buying supervisors and procurement specialists to ensure timely purchase order processing.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Industry Versatility: Proven experience managing a diverse procurement portfolio (retail inventory, corporate operations, CapEx, or logistics) is highly advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in leveraging modern procurement systems, Applicant Tracking/ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and advanced data analytics.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. (CPSM or equivalent certification is a plus).
