Job summary

Icarus Fast One is seeking a Canvasser to source, canvass, and compare prices of materials and supplies essential to our operations. You will play a key role in securing best value while maintaining quality and supplier reliability.

You will coordinate with encoders, purchasers, and checkers, process orders with the procurement team, and maintain compliant documentation and canvassing records for audits. Daily market checks and supplier negotiations are part of the role, with onsite deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or canvassing.
• Familiarity with cashless payment systems for transaction processing.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills to evaluate and select vendors effectively.
• Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, and professionalism, and should never be influenced or bribed by suppliers in any form.
• Onsite job and must be willing to be deployed to different branches

Responsibilities

• Source, canvass, and compare material prices from multiple suppliers.
• Coordinate with encoders, purchasers, and checkers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Work with procurement for processing and approval of orders.
• Maintain canvassing documents and supplier data for policy audits.
• Prepare canvass sheets and gain approvals from Purchasing/Operations Manager.
• Keep records of price quotations and canvassing activities for audit.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and stock availability.
• Suggest alternative suppliers or substitutes when stockouts occur.
• Conduct monthly market checks or reports on pricing trends.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure best value.
