Job summary

Zenith Foods Corporation seeks a Process Innovation and Automation Engineer to lead automation and process improvement projects across JFC commissaries. You will manage scope, supplier selection, FAT, and the end-to-end installation and qualification of new equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid Canlubang, Laguna setting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in food-manufacturing automation, and strong PLC programming and electromechanical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any Engineering field; licensed engineer preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in process innovation and automation in food manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in electromechanics, mechanization, automation systems, control technologies, and PLC programming.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work under pressure.
• Willing to conduct site visits as required.
• Willing to be assigned on a hybrid setup in Canlubang, Laguna.

• Identify and evaluate opportunities for automation and process innovation across manufacturing sites.
• Develop and document project scope through a comprehensive project scope lock sheet.
• Lead the selection process for suppliers, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements.
• Prepare and submit project funding proposals; secure necessary approvals from management.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to validate equipment performance prior to deployment.
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of new equipment installation, qualification, and successful handover to manufacturing operations.

The Process Innovation and Automation Engineer is responsible for leading and executing automation and process improvement projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing productivity across the JFC Group’s commissaries. This role ensures all projects align with company standards for equipment procurement, installation, and qualification. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to deliver high-impact, sustainable solutions.

• Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work under pressure.
