Job summary

ams Asia Inc in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines, is seeking an Early Professional to join the LSP Process Engineering Sustaining team. You will evaluate, develop and optimize new processes and support manufacturing with cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires 2–3 years in tape and reel and AOI systems, willingness to rotate 12-hour day/night shifts, and hands-on problem solving with QA and Engineering. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years hands on experience in tape and reel process and AOI systems.
• Experience in semiconductor is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to perform 12-hour rotating day and night shifts on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform the evaluation, development and optimization of new processes
• Conduct FMEA with cross-functional teams for introduction of new technology, tools and processes
• Set up production line and perform process controls for smooth production flow
• Work with QA and Engineering teams to resolve process-related issues and foresee potential problems
• Evaluate and qualify new packaging materials
• Document work instructions for individual processes
• Apply knowledge of 8D, FMEA, DMAIC and QC tools
