Job summary

Kaertech Limited in the Philippines seeks a Process Engineer to ensure successful transition of new products from design to mass production. You will develop, validate and standardize manufacturing processes to enable ramp-up, high yield, and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include analyzing yield trends, driving continuous improvement, optimizing machines, and maintaining PFMEA, PCP, and WI for product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in lean manufacturing, SPC, DOE, FMEA, Pareto analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with process improvement and PFMEA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze yield trends and formulate corrective action plans for improvement.
• Review productivity and scrap rates; implement cost-reduction initiatives.
• Execute continuous improvement plans for yield and productivity enhancement.
• Evaluate and propose machine optimization strategies.
• Generate and monitor PCP and WI for specified product lines.
• Review and improve PFMEA for product processes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to production performance.
• Analyze current process capability and recommend improvements.
• Define rework flow and provide controls for line reworks and customer rework requests.
• Establish and standardize process controls.
• Collaborate with Production and other support teams.
• Provide regular reports and updates (e.g., PFMEA, PCP, WI).
• Evaluate Jigs and alternative materials.
