Job summary

Manila Multipurpose Terminal is seeking a Safety and Security Marshal to promote a safe working environment within the terminal. You will conduct inspections, monitor adherence to health, safety, and security regulations, and respond to incidents to protect personnel and property.

The role requires 1-3 years in safety/security, BOSH SO1 certification is preferred, and the ability to lead by example in a demanding port environment. Starting ASAP with occasional shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure adherence to safety policies and regulations.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for safety-related concerns.
• Challenge improper PPE use and unsafe behaviors to reinforce safety culture.
• Perform daily facility inspections to deter crime and maintain security presence.
• Monitor for security breaches and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Maintain daily records and submit reports to the HSE Manager.
• Assist in safety orientations for new employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Assist security officers in conveying security protocols within the terminal.
• Support investigations and prepare detailed incident reports.
