Job summary

John Clements Family is seeking a high-caliber Officer to lead a Private Markets NAV accounting team, delivering operational excellence, client service, and risk-managed outputs from a central function in Metro Manila.

The role requires deep knowledge of private markets fund structures, strong leadership, and a proven track record in managing performance, hiring, and process improvements to ensure high-quality client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Alternative Investments, Private Markets, or Fund Accounting experience.
• Experience leading teams and managing employee performance.
• Experience conducting performance evaluations and providing structured developmental feedback.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and operational escalations.
• Experience overseeing multiple deliverables, priorities, and stakeholder groups simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end NAV accounting activities across assigned client relationships.
• Review and approve NAV packages, financial reporting schedules, and fund accounting outputs.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, internal controls, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor service delivery performance and implement corrective actions.
• Manage operational risks, escalations, and issue resolution activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
• Directly manage Associates and Senior Associates; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Support hiring, onboarding, succession planning, and retention efforts.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce planning initiatives.
• Maintain deep subject matter expertise across Private Markets fund structures and accounting processes.
• Provide technical guidance on complex accounting transactions.
