Job summary

Private Advertiser in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Information Privacy Governance professional to lead the program, develop policies, and ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws.

You will manage the data asset inventory, oversee data classification, perform risk assessments, support audits, and collaborate with Legal, IT, and Compliance teams on privacy projects. Excellent English, Mandarin preferred, and a strong track record in enterprise privacy programs is required.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Law, IT, or related field

Experience

• 5–8 years in information governance, data privacy, or compliance

• Demonstrated experience managing privacy programs in enterprise environments

• Knowledge of data lifecycle management and classification frameworks

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in privacy management tools (OneTrust or equivalent)

• Understanding of data architecture and information management best practices

Certifications (Preferred)

• CIPP/A, CIPP/E, or equivalent privacy certification

• Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM)

Language Requirements

• English: Excellent proficiency — written and spoken (required for all applicants)

• Mandarin (Putonghua / Simplified Chinese): Business-level proficiency — strongly preferred;

JOB DESCRIPTION

Information Privacy Governance

• Lead and oversee the organization's information privacy governance framework

• Develop, implement, and maintain privacy policies, standards, and procedures

• Ensure organizational practices align with applicable data protection laws and regulations

• Manage the data asset inventory and oversee data classification and labeling initiatives

Risk & Compliance

• Identify and assess privacy risks across business processes and data flows

• Support privacy risk remediation efforts and track resolution to closure

• Participate in regulatory audits, assessments, and examinations

Stakeholder Advisory

• Serve as a subject matter expert on information privacy matters for internal stakeholders

• Advise on data sharing agreements, third-party privacy reviews, and cross-border data transfers

• Collaborate with Legal, IT, and Compliance teams on privacy-related projects
