Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the Philippines is seeking an established procurement professional to manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis, ensuring best interests of the organization.

You will prepare purchase orders, negotiate prices, monitor contract performance, and coordinate with suppliers to resolve delays, while maintaining compliance and delivering value across global operations.

Qualifications

• University degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or advanced degree with at least 3 years.
• Experience in procurement, RFPs, cost analysis and negotiations.
• Lean principles understanding.
• APICs or ISM certification a plus; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis.
• Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization’s best interest.
• Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance.
• Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.
• Prepares request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts.
• Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Understands Lean Principles
• Understands Contractual Terms and Conditions
• APICs or ISM certification a plus (CPIM, CPM, CSCP, CPSM)
• SAP user experience for MRP is a plus
