As a Principal Social Worker (Team Lead), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Lead and manage a team of Social Workers to achieve organizational objectives.
- Implement professional tools and working templates to guide staff in case assessments.
- Monitor the team's compliance with processes and adherence to practice policies.
- Represent the center in advocacy efforts for vulnerable families, promoting access to equal opportunities through collaborative practice with community partners.
- Establish documentation and platforms for disseminating best practices within the cluster.
- Steer the center's strategic initiatives related to group work and community engagement, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.
- Teach and guide supervisors to support their supervisees in regular self-assessment of competencies and interpersonal interactions.
- Assess staff capabilities, identify professional growth areas, and develop roadmaps to address these needs.
- Create a vision for change within the center and motivate the team to achieve this vision.
- Co-construct and implement employee development strategies with staff to foster team growth.
- Support the Head of Centre and cluster leadership in implementing operational protocols, processes, and policies.
- Review and oversee emergency response and crisis management tools.
- Lead necessary changes in organizational procedures, structures, protocols, and policies.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Centre.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work
