Job summary

Zynga Inc in the gaming industry seeks a Principal Data Analyst to own data for Words With Friends Instant, guiding decisions on player behavior, feature health, experimentation, and strategy.

You will design experiments, build dashboards, ETL pipelines, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering to drive revenue, retention, and engagement. You’ll contribute to analytics AI initiatives and promote best practices across games.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or related area.
• 8+ years in data science or analytics roles, preferably with 6+ years in product/game analytics.
• Proven ability to guide product decisions with data and handle ambiguous data.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product to optimize revenue, retention, and engagement metrics; conduct A/B testing and develop dashboards.
• Analyze player behavior to inform experience improvements and translate insights into actions.
• Communicate findings to senior and executive stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.
