Job summary

Maropost is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (.NET) to serve as a technical thought leader, architecting large-scale distributed systems and guiding engineering excellence across teams.

You will drive end-to-end system design, evaluate new technologies, and ensure scalable, secure, and performant platforms on cloud-native infrastructure. A strong background in .NET, cloud platforms, and modern UI integrations is essential, along with a passion for customer obsession and delivering value.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on software development experience with increasing responsibilities.
• 5+ years of strong expertise in .NET / .NET Core, C#, and enterprise-grade backend frameworks.
• Experience architecting solutions on GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, DevOps best practices, and production automation.
• Strong exposure to modern UI frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and front-end integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of observability, including distributed tracing, logging, telemetry, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture and engineering roadmap for complex systems.
• Strong experience in architecting cloud-native, high-availability distributed systems and microservices, with end-to-end system design expertise.
• Influence engineering standards and platform strategy across teams and projects.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and adoption strategies.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, parallel programming, and high-throughput systems.
• Drive end-to-end system design with scalable, secure, low-latency trade-offs.
• Lead architecture reviews, critical code reviews, and debugging sessions.
• Represent engineering in architecture forums and governance groups.
