Job summary

Vertiv Co seeks a Pricing Analyst to manage item creation, pricing maintenance, and price book distribution in a fast paced environment. You will coordinate with product managers, factory contacts, and finance to ensure accurate price books and data integrity across Oracle, Sharepoint and Lotus Notes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience in a pricing related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and data management software (Oracle or similar systems) is a MUST.

• Effective communication to collaborate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage item creation in the system with accurate attributes (EPH, category, supplier, cost, list price, currency).
• Assist in preparing and distributing product price books.
• Regularly maintain and update product pricing in Oracle, Lotus Notes and Sharepoint.
• Regulate access to Price Books and documents stored in Sharepoint.
• Track item prices and costs by updating the masterfile and recording changes and discontinuations.
• Resolve pricing issues and inquiries from Market Units and Supply Chain Team.
• Interact with product managers, factory contacts, MU sales, supply chain, finance and Oracle teams to ensure price books and processes are executed correctly.
• Assist in price audits documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices with the team.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Manage item creation process in the system, ensuring accuracy of the item attributes such as EPH, product category, supplier, cost, list price, currency and similar details.
• Assist in the preparation & distribution of product price books.
• Regularly maintain and update product pricing in the system (Oracle), Lotus Notes and Sharepoint.
• Regulate and facilitate access to Price Books and other documents stored in Sharepoint
• Keep track of item prices and costs by compiling, updating, and maintaining data in the masterfile, ensuring that all price and cost changes, as well as discontinuations, are accurately recorded.
• Efficiently resolve pricing issues and inquiries received from the Market Units and Supply Chain Team.
• Engage frequently interact with product managers, factory contacts, MU sales, supply chain, finance and oracle team to ensure accurate execution of price books, item creation, cost updates, maintenance, revisions and publication processes.
• Assists in preparation of price audits documentation
• Identify opportunities for process optimization for continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with the team to implement best practices.
