Job summary

Parameta Solutions, the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP, seeks a Price Reporting Analyst to produce, validate and maintain real-time OTC market data and indicative pricing for clients worldwide. You will calibrate pricing models, analyze market movements, and ensure data integrity and timely delivery, working with broking desks, Product Development and Technology teams.

Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.

Role Overview

The Price Reporting Analyst plays a key role in the production, validation, and maintenance of real-time OTC market data and indicative pricing services used by financial institutions globally. Working closely with broking desks, Product Development, Technology teams, and external clients, the successful candidate will support the calibration and monitoring of pricing models, analyse market movements, and help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of market data products. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded individual with an interest in financial markets to develop a deep understanding of OTC products, market dynamics, and the methodologies underpinning independent price formation.

Role Responsibilities
  • Responsible for operating and maintaining various indicative pricing models which generate real-time market data for internal and external use in financial market interpretation and analysis.
  • Calibration of indicative OTC market data pricing models designed by TPI Product Development to reflect current market conditions.
  • Analyze key economic releases and associated market data.
  • Monitor client systems to ensure data is received correctly.
  • Maintain reference data that supports the data pricing models.
  • Respond to customer enquiries about market liquidity and volatility with respect to their area of experience.
  • Liaise with broking desks to resolve data quality issues and to ensure appropriate roll of key benchmark securities
  • Provide notification to customers of changes to benchmark records
  • Test system improvements/changes implemented by Development or Product groups
  • Ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility; Report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as described in the policy; Escalate risk events immediately and log them within 24 hours using the risk event capture form on the intranet; Provide input if requested to the Risk and Control Self-Assessment process, scenario analysis, ‘Deep Dive’ reviews and any other risk management processes, as required.
Experience / Competences
  • Essential Numerical aptitude and ability to work confidently with large datasets.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other desktop productivity tools.
  • Demonstrates curiosity about financial markets and a willingness to learn complex market concepts.
  • Desired Knowledge of OTC financial markets and market data products.
  • Understanding of fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, energy, derivatives, or other traded financial instruments.
  • Awareness of the relationships between different asset classes and their impact on market pricing.
