Job summary

Beyond Limits Digital Printing, Inc. seeks a skilled painter to prepare metal surfaces, apply primer and coatings, and ensure quality finishes in a fabrication setting. The role involves mixing coatings, maintaining tools, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Experience with spray guns, brushes, and rollers is preferred, and vocational training in painting or fabrication is a plus. Applicants with relevant experience but without a vocational certificate may also be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a painter, preferably in fabrication, manufacturing, or construction.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, primer application, painting, and finishing of metal materials.
• Experience using spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other painting tools.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual work in a fabrication environment.
• Willing to follow company safety and quality standards.
• Vocational/Technical course graduate is an advantage, particularly in Painting, Welding, Fabrication, Automotive, or related fields.
• Applicants with relevant experience but without a vocational certificate may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces through cleaning, grinding, sanding, and removal of rust, oil, and other contaminants.
• Apply primer, paint, and protective coatings according to specifications.
• Mix and prepare paint and coating materials properly.
• Check finished surfaces for proper color, coverage, thickness, and overall quality.
• Perform touch-ups and repainting when necessary.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, and chemicals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
