Metal Fabricator Finisher is responsible for performing surface preparation and finishing tasks on fabricated metal parts. This includes grinding, sanding, polishing, and deburring to achieve the required surface quality and specifications. The role ensures that all metal components are properly finished for welding, painting, or final assembly, contributing to the overall quality and safety of the finished product.

• Grind welds, joints, and surfaces to smooth finishes using power tools.
• Sand and polish metal parts to required textures and appearance.
• Remove sharp edges, burrs, rust, and other surface imperfections.
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare metal surfaces for painting or further processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Use hand tools and equipment such as angle grinders, belt sanders, and polishers.
• Work closely with welders, fabricators, and quality control.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report damaged parts, tool issues, or safety hazards to supervisors.
