Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of ingredient handling, portion control, recipe assembly, and basic commercial kitchen tools/mixers.
• Clear understanding of temperature control, hygiene rules, and cross-contamination prevention.
• Strong multi-tasking, physical dexterity, and high stress tolerance during peak service.
• Clear listening and speaking skills to maintain coordination with cooks and packers.
• Sharp eye for visual presentation, package integrity, and precise measurements.
• Ability to resolve assembly line delays quickly and accept constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with kitchen and dispatch teams to plan, prep, and assemble orders on time.
• Inspect ingredients and finished dishes against presentation and portion standards; reject items that do not pass quality checks.
• Receive raw shipments, store ingredients at proper temperatures, and uphold all food safety codes.
• Measure, mix, and prepare simple dishes, sauces, desserts, and foundational components for the assembly line.
• Fast-fold, tape, and stack packaging boxes; securely pack food items for final dispatch.
• Track food prep station inventory, monitor shelf lives, and report low stock before items run out.
• Keep workstations, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized; handle trash disposal regularly.
• Follow directions from cooks and dispatch leads to keep line operations running smoothly.
• Perform repetitive manual tasks (standing, lifting, folding) safely over 8-to-10-hour shifts with minimal supervision.
• Perform other job-related duties assigned by management.
