Job summary

The Sandpipers (M) Sdn Bhd in San Pedro, Manila is seeking highly skilled Precision Carbide Grinders / Toolmakers to join a specialised Precision Carbide Toolroom serving the Semiconductor Industry.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in precision grinding, toolmaking, and machining, with strong experience in carbide tooling and ability to read engineering drawings. Compensation PHP 35,000 - PHP 60,000 per month, commensurate with experience.

PRECISION CARBIDE TOOL & PUNCH GRINDERS / MACHINISTS

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Precision Carbide Grinders / Toolmakers to join our specialised Precision Carbide Toolroom in San Pedro, Manila. You will work in a specialised Precision Carbide Toolroom serving the Semiconductor Industry.

Key responsibilities

Perform precision grinding and toolmaking on Semiconductor Precision Carbide Punches, Dies and related Carbide Toolings

Achieve very close tolerances, dimensional accuracy and excellent surface finishes

Conduct Precision Surface Grinding and Carbide Grinding

Read and interpret precision engineering drawings and specifications

About you

Minimum 5 years of proven hands‑on experience in precision grinding, toolmaking, and machining

Strong experience in Semiconductor Precision Carbide Punches, Dies and related Carbide Toolings

Competent in achieving very close tolerances, dimensional accuracy and excellent surface finishes

Good knowledge and hands‑on skills in Precision Surface Grinding and Carbide Grinding

Able to read and interpret precision engineering drawings and specifications

Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification, preferably in Tool & Die Making, Precision Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Strong commitment to quality, workmanship, productivity and continuous improvement

Practical Skills Test

Shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo a 1-2 day practical skills and competency assessment prior to final selection.

Compensation

PHP 35,000 - PHP 60,000 per month, commensurate with demonstrated experience, skills and competency.

Exceptional candidates with strong specialised Carbide Tooling expertise will be considered accordingly.
