Job summary

SUNSTATE MACHINERY CORP. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our accounting and finance operations in Metro Manila.

You will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing accounting documents and reports, ensuring compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate is a BS Accountancy graduate, proficient with Excel and MS Office, and capable of handling numerical data accurately.

Qualifications

• Graduate from BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management, or related course.
• Experience in accounting is an advantage; fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate with numerical data.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Monitor cash receipts, disbursements, and daily collections.
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of accounting information.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Reconcile cash balances and financial records.
• Organize accounts payable and accounts receivable documents.
• Check and verify expenses and liquidation reports.
• Maintain filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Assist with other accounting duties as assigned.
