Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Design Associate to collaborate with resellers and internal partners, diagnosing business needs and assembling complete technology solutions.

You will engage via phone, email, chat, and virtual meetings, identifying budget, timelines, and goals, while pursuing cross-sell opportunities and ensuring a smooth end-to-end customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years in Pre-sales, technology, customer support, or a solutions role.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and standard business software.
• Able to juggle multiple priorities without losing track of details.
• Willing to work on night shift (US timezone) and 10 days RTO monthly (2 consecutive weeks).

About The Role

We're hiring a Pre-Sales Solution Design Associate to work directly with reseller and internal partners over the phone, helping them build complete technology solutions for their customers. You'll uncover what a customer actually needs, then put together the right mix of products, services, warranties, and support to meet it, while spotting the cross-sell and upsell opportunities that come with doing that well. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role. You're not reading a script, you're diagnosing a business need and building the answer.

• Experience selling or supporting technology products and solutions


• Background in consultative sales, account management, inside sales, or technical support


• Working knowledge of IT hardware, software, cloud, or networking
