PRE-PRESS ARTIST

Job Summary
Responsible for preparing, checking, and correcting digital artwork to ensure files are properly formatted and ready for high-quality printing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check artwork for resolution, dimensions, fonts, layers, and file setup.

• Prepare files according to printing specifications.

• Perform color correction and color adjustments using Adobe Photoshop.

• Convert and manage CMYK and other color modes for accurate print results.

• Set up bleed, margins, and proper layouts.

• Check and correct artwork before production.

• Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with production/printing operators.

• Troubleshoot file and layout issues that may affect print quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CorelDRAW.

• Knowledge of color management and print production.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good understanding of file preparation and printing requirements.

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Experience in pre-press or printing is an advantage.
