Job summary

Laus Group is seeking a Pre-Delivery Inspection Associate to support the sales department by conducting thorough checks of vehicle units before delivery. You will follow an approved checklist, report discrepancies, and coordinate with Aftersales and Sales Admin to ensure all documents and handovers are properly completed.

The role requires familiarity with automotive operations, at least 1 year of related experience, and a valid professional driver's license.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Automotive Technology or related field.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience in automotive industry.
• Must know how to drive and possess a valid professional driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Receives new vehicle units from shipment and conducts inspection using an approved checklist.
• Performs pre-delivery inspection or stencil of units from the dealer principal.
• Prepares and submits signed forms to Business Manager or Sales Admin.
• Submits vehicle transit damage or discrepancy report within the first 4 working hours.
• Coordinates with Aftersales for repairs or rectification with approval of Business Manager.
• Secures tools, manuals, spare keys, floor mats, etc., and hands them to Sales Admin with proper markings.
• Performs an inventory count with Finance personnel, participates in reconciliation, and records discrepancies including vehicle condition.

This position exists to support the sales department by conducting pre-delivery inspection of units before delivery to customers thereby ensuring the attainment and fulfillment of the Laus Group corporate mission and vision.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Receives new vehicle units from shipment and conducts inspection using an approved checklist.
2. Performs a pre-delivery inspection or stencil of all units from the dealer principal.
3. Prepares and submits signed forms to Business Manager or Sales Admin.
4. Submits vehicle transit damage or discrepancy report (if any) immediately or within the first 4 working hours to the Business Manager.
5. Coordinates with Aftersales if repairs or rectification are required at any given time upon approval of the Business Manager.
6. Secures tools, manuals, spare keys, floor mats, etc. assigned to respective units and handovers them to the Sales Admin with proper markings.
7. Performs an inventory physical count with Finance personnel, participates in the reconciliation, and records discrepancies including the condition of the vehicle unit.

Core Competencies

1. Preferably a graduate of Automotive Technology or related course.
2. At least one (1) year related work experience from the automotive industry or any related experience.
3. Knows how to drive and with a valid professional driver’s license.
