Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field.
• Strong interest in safety, hygiene, and environmental protection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of EHS regulations and principles is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of EHS policies and procedures.
• Support the coordination of safety inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Help maintain EHS documentation, including accident reports, safety training records, and compliance logs.
• Participate in the investigation of incidents and near-misses, helping to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees.
• Support the EHS team in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
• Contribute to the promotion of a strong safety culture within the organization.
• Perform other EHS-related duties as assigned.
