Job summary

Valeo North America Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Quality Intern to support our Quality department with data analysis, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

This part‑time trainee role offers hands‑on experience, involving data collection and reporting, assisting in audits, updating work instructions, and collaborating with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a recent graduate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001) is a plus.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collection, analysis, and reporting of quality data.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality issues.
• Help prepare and update quality documentation, including work instructions and control plans.
• Assist in conducting internal audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality-related problems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality department.
